Project CoordinatorThe Project Coordinator position will provide general technical and business process solutions to BGSU departments and colleges across campus. To accomplish this, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the project life cycle and outcomes for small to medium sized IT projects; performing systems analysis and requirements gathering; developing functional specifications to provide guidance to development resources; participating in business process reviews and Kaizen events under the direction of the Supervisor or a Project Manager; act as testing lead for large/multi-departmental projects; and assist in documenting ITS processes, procedures, and templates.Manage projects throughout the project life cycle using standard project management practices, templates, and methodologies.Analyze and convert detailed business processes into system requirements.Serve as testing lead for large or complex projects.Communicate (e-mail, meetings, documents, etc) project status to project stakeholders and sponsors.Manage and update project documentation, including, but not limited to governance documentation, project charter, functional specification, project plan, and project closure.Remains up-to-date on project management best practices and industry trends; especially related to Information Systems and Higher Education.Required DegreeBachelor's Degree required.Required Experience6 months Information Systems or Project Management required.One-year Internship experience preferred in Information Systems or Business.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge of Information Systems concepts and methodologiesKnowledge of Project Management practices and methodologiesKnowledge of process mapping and Lean Six Sigma methodologiesKnowledge associated with the current technologies being leveraged by ERP and 3rd party applications implemented at BGSUBasic knowledge of current hardware, networking, and security practicesGreat communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsThis is a full-time position located in Bowling Green, Ohio, which offers the option for a flexible/hybrid work schedule (remote/on-campus).Deadline to Apply: September 29, 2026Experience must be fully documented on the official application.The application will be used to evaluate if candidates meet the minimum requirements for the position and for consideration when determining starting pay rate.Experience requirements are inclusive of relevant professional experience, or experience attained through relevant internships, co-ops, student employment positions, or graduate assistantships.Required: Resume (for supplemental information only)Optional: Cover LetterEssential Requirement: Work AuthorizationBGSU does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
