Spring River is seeking a Full-Time and PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Roswell, New Mexico. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care. This role focuses on helping residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs
Accurately document treatments and patient responses in compliance with regulations
SNF or long-term care experience preferred
Knowledge of current therapy practices
Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of New Mexico
License must be active and in good standing
